The Power Jack 8 Delta is the pefect charger to charge and discharge the 9.6v 1000mah batteries used on the Multiple Easystar, (the charge time on these flight batteries is about 1hr 20 mins).
Product Details.
The Powerjack8 Delta is a microprocessor controlled charger with battery full detection via NEGATIVE DELTA V technology. To charge a battery pack put the power plug into a convenient mains socket. After connecting the charger with the battery pack the red fast charging indictator lights. Once Negative DeltaV is detected, charging is complete and the fast charge automatically switches to a trickle charge. This is indicated by the charge of the LED from red to green colour and keeps the pack charged for many hours without damaging the pack. To stop charging, disconnect the charger from the mains supply before removing the battery from the charger. If you wish to discharge a pack in order to avoid the memory effect (not necessary with Ni-MH batteries), press the yellow button marked DISCHARGE, The LED lights yellow to indicate the discharging process. After the discharge process is complete the battery is recharged automatically. During the discharge phase it is possible to interrupt the discharge at any time by pressing the yellow DISCHARGE button again.
